Dr. Christopher L. Morris

I graduated from Union City High School in 1994. Then, I went on to Lambuth University where I graduated in 1999 with a B.S. in History/Political Science. I earned my Masters of Education in 2009; Education Specialist Degree in 2011; and Doctoral Degree in 2018 (all) from Union University. I served as an assistant principal at West Middle School, and Northside High School in Jackson, TN. I received numerous community awards for my work with youth and young adults. Recently, I served at the state level for the Suicide Prevention Network. My background includes experience in mental health.

I believe that all children can learn but are diverse in the way in which each learns. I believe that with hard work and perseverance we can touch each child in a special way. However, the ultimate key to success is keeping the culture positive and communication open among staff, students, and parents. I feel that teamwork is the process in which a school can be successful in reaching the goal of helping a child attain his or her full potential. I am honored to have the opportunity to continue reaching, teaching, and inspiring all students at Crestview Middle. My passion for education involves providing an exciting, rigorous, and safe learning environment for all students. My commitment to building positive relationships and leading by example will go hand in hand while displaying Charger Pride!"

During my free time, I enjoy reading, participating in Spartan Races, riding my motorcycle, and watching sports. One of my greatest accomplishments is sharing life with my beautiful wife Jamakka and our three sons, Scott, C.J. and Kyngston!
