On November 5th, Crestview Middle Student Council kicked off their Samaritan's Purse Christmas Child Shoe Box campaign. National collection week is November 16th-23rd. Crestview Middle's shoeboxes need to be filled and ready by November 19th. The students are collecting for children in areas of our world that don't have needed supplies. Each homeroom class was provided a shoe box for each teacher that needs to be filled. Every homeroom decides if they want to fill a box for a boy or a girl. Some items that can be put in the shoe box are crayons, small hot wheels cars, toothbrushes, pencils, pencil cases, coloring books, small toys, sunglasses, barrettes, headbands, bar soap, washcloths, color pencils, scissors, etc.
To find out more about Samaritan's Purse, please watch the videos below. One video provides the purpose and the package of the shoe box another video is about packing, what goes in, and following your shoebox. Remember the items need to be brought to the school by November 19th. Thank you for all of your help!
