NJHS Inducts New Members

On Thursday, September 10th, the Crestview Middle School Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society inducted 30 new members. New members are inducted based on the previous year's overall academic performance. Students must receive a 93 academic grade point average for the year, must have good conduct reports, and have no referrals to the office. NJHS is not only an academic organization, but it is also a service organization. Throughout the year, NJHS members will participate in various activities to benefit the school and community. One of their largest activities will be in October when they sponsor their annual St. Jude Drive. Over a 2-week period, CMS students will bring money to donate to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. This drive has collected thousands of dollars over the past few years that is given to St. Jude to help the hospital in their quest to cure childhood cancer.
